SHILLONG: Two toddlers drowned in separate accidents in the state. Two-year-old Hamham Marak fell into a well and drowned at Kawahagra around 113 pm on Wednesday. The baby was taken to Mahendraganj CHC where the doctor confirmed that the child had already died.On Monday around 3 pm, two-year-old Rosemary Thubru drowned in a pond near her house at Namdong-B village in West Jaintia Hills.
The body was handed over to relatives after necessary formalities.
