M’laya muaythai team shines at national championship

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Junior & Senior Team of Muaythai shines well at the Muaythai National Championship 2018 organised by United Amateur Muaythai Association of India (UAMAI) at Pathare Stadium, Pune Maharashtra from November 15-18, 2018 for Junior & Senior Men & Women with 5 gold medals, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Narimon Nongrum below 38 kg 16-17 years junior category, Monica Nongrum below 63.3 kg senior women managed to bag gold medals while Ishadora Thongni below 45 kg 14-15 years junior category with silver medal. For boys and men events, Mightyson Nonglang below 48 kg 14-15 years junior category, Blaseibok Kharbuli below 45 kg 16-17 years junior category and Alfred Watklet Riahtam below 42kg senior men managed to bag gold medals while Babit Kharsahnoh below 45 kg senior category and Dauni Nongrum below 54 kg senior category with silver medal. Evinstar Nongspung below 56 kg 14-15 year junior category snd Tonroi Suting below 51kg senior category secured bronze medals.
