New Delhi: India on Saturday hailed M C Mary Kom’s record sixth gold with congratulatory messages pouring in from President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minster Narendra Modi, Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore and Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
Former India opener Virender Sehwag also joined the chorus in congratulating the champion boxer.
Junior Home Minister Kiren Rijiju also congratulated the boxer. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president Amit Shah, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also congratulated her. (Agencies)
