KJDSTA to meet DSEL asking for arrear payment before Christmas

SHILLONG: The Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’ Association (KJDSTA) will meet the Director of School Education and Literacy (DSEL) on Wednesday to apprise him on the release of arrear payment to deficit teachers besides other related issues before Christmas.

In a statement issued here, the president of KJDSTA, Babu Kular Khongjirem said that the secondary deficit teachers had already received new revised pay since June 2018.

He added that the deficit Lower Primary and Upper Primary teachers known as non government LP/UP school would receive new pay from next December 2018 according to the sanction order disbursed by the respective SDSEO office to different schools last week.

Other remaining dues of both LP/UP deficit teachers will get as arrears in due course of time.
