SHILLONG :“Reliving the memories, Kite Festival” will be organized by Rympei Ventures Private Limited under the banner of online portal rympei.com on December 7 and 8 at Mada Wahsalu, Sabah Muswang Village, West Jaintia Hills District.
Addressing the press on Tuesday, Pyndap Lawriniang, director of Rympei Ventures Private Limited said the Kite festival aimed to revive traditional games and Kite flying which is hardly seen in these times.
He added that participants can bring their own kites or can get them from the venue of the event, the winners of the kite fight will be awarded while the best and most attractive kites will also bag awards.
