Public Hearing on NH-51 to be held

TURA: The Officer on Special Duty, Meghalaya Institute of Governance, Shillong has informed that Public Hearing on Social Impact Assessment Study for acquisition of land at West Garo Hills District for widening to 2-lane with geometric improvement of National Highway -51 from Tura to Dalu.

Therefore, all land owners, stakeholders and interested persons are invited to attend the said Public Hearing to express their claims or objections or suggestions, if any, on the proposal.

It may be mentioned that the public hearing was held at Rongram on 27th November, 2018, at Gambegre on 28 and 29th November, 2018 and at Dalu C & RD Block on 30thNovember, 2018 at Khera Nokat MFC and on 3rd December, 2018 at Machangpani Government L P School and Maguapara Primary School.
