Set up Polytechnic in Baghmara, not Gasuapara

TURA: The Baghmara Citizens Forum (BCF) in South Garo Hills has said that if a Polytechnic College is set up in the district, it should be done at district headquarters Baghmara and not at Gasuapara as some reliable sources have informed.
“It is learnt from reliable sources that the construction of the college is going to be at Gasuapara which is in the outskirts of the district. This will create problems for students later on as maintenance of the college and its decorum will be a serious issue,” the BCF said.
The forum while acknowledging that Gasuapara is also a part of the district feels that the prestigious institution if set up needs to be more accessible to district headquarters, Baghmara.
