SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong registered their 5th consecutive victory on Tuesday as they defeated Guwahati Town Club by 2-1 at the MFA Turf in Polo. With this win, Lajong Junior Reds remain at the top of the table with 15 points from 6 games.Parvaj Bhuiya scored the first goal for Shillong Lajong in the 45+1 minute from outside the box and Donboklang Lyngdoh doubled the lead when he netted in the 50th minute from inside the box to find the right corner of the net. Nabin Rana managed the solitary goal for GTC in the 71st minute after he found some space and scored from inside the center of the box. Shillong Lajong will play their next match against SAI on December 3 in Guwahati.
