Fire at Byrnihat bank
On November 30 around noon, fire broke out at Meghalaya Rural Bank, Borbhuin, Byrnihat reportedly due to bursting of a UPS battery. As a result, some documents were gutted, however, no casualty was reported.
Theft
On November 30 circa 10.30 am, unknown miscreants stole a motorcycle (ML-09-8613) belonging to Hillarson Marak from Zikzak Bazar (SWGH).
Taufikar Rahman lodged a complaint that on November 28, unknown miscreants stole electrical equipments belong to M/s Reliance-Jio Info Com including rectifier module, batteries, CBL elec arm, etc, from 17th Mile, Raid Nongkylla, Byrnihat in Ri Bhoi.
David D Sangma, , Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya lodged a complaint that between November 22 and 25, unknown miscreants broke into his quarter (No. D-25 C-II) at 4th Furlong, Shillong and stole one laptop computer, two LPG cylinders, one gas stove and one cell-phone.
