Five injured in separate accidents

Shillong: With the year approaching to an end, accidents have also increase as days goes by. Several incidents were reported from different parts of the state on Saturday.
A 23-year-old man identified as Final Nongtdu who was driving an Alto K10 met with an accident with a truck at Laitkor Ksehbilat around 1:14 am. The victim sustained minor injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Smit based ambulance.
In another incident on the same day, 21-year-old Jehirul Hussain and 26-year old Magnum Ali sustained injuries as the bike they were riding skidded at Umtrew near Bypass Bridge around 2pm. The victims were shifted to Umsning CHC by 108 Umsning based ambulance.
Similarly a 17-year old identified as Phrangstar Molong sustained injuries as he was hit from behind by a truck that was trying to take a reverse in Mawlai Umthlong near Banalari on Saturday. The victim was shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Lawmali based ambulance.
On November 30 , an accident took place between a Tempo vehicle (ML-08E-6899) and a motorcycle (ML-08C-1383) ridden by Nur Sakin (17) at Mahisbatanpara area (SWGH).
As a result, two occupants of the tempo vehicle and two minor pillion riders sustained injuries.
