SHILLONG: Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) faction led by Adelbert Nongrum refused to respond to the clarification sought by KHNAM president Pyndapborthiaw Saibon.
In a statement issued here, the general secretary of KHNAM, THS Bonney said it is not important to respond to Saibon’s clarification on recognition of Nongrum as the president of party by the Election Commission of India.
The KHNAM faction of Nongrum expressed surprise that Saibon still declare himself as the president when ECI has declared Nongrum as the president.
