2nd FKJGP football tourney starts at Nongsder village

NONGPOH: In a bid to uplift football and also to render platform to youngster who wish to flourish in football, the Federation of Khasi Jaintia & Garo People, Umiam Circle inaugurated its 2nd FKJGP Football Tournament 2018 at Nongsder village, Ri Bhoi District. The tourney was inaugurated on Saturday by Luistar Lyngdoh, General Secretary FKJGP, North Khasi Hills District as the chief guest in the presence of the local Rangbah Shnong Welcome Shangpliang along with the members of the FKJGP, Umiam Circle. The opening match witnessed the thrilling match played in between Umsawkhwan FC versus Umeit Sport Club. Umsawkhwan FC won the match by 1-0.
