Christmas break for EMRI protest

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya EMRI Workers Union 108 has decided to halt the black flag agitation from the Monday midnight till Tuesday midnight on the occasion of Christmas.
The EMRI workers have been protesting by putting up black flags on ambulances. The union’ publicity secretary J Pyngrope said the protest will resume from the midnight of December 26.
