SHILLONG: The Shillong city NPP committee formed the Pynthorumkhrah Block Committee in which PN Syiem was also present on Friday.
In a statement issued here, president of Shillong City (NPP) Lamphang Kharmujai said Syiem’s name has been proposed for the council polls from Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah constituency. The former chairman of the People’s Democratic Front will join NPP on Saturday.
The office bearers of Pynthorumkhrah NPP Block Committee are president D Pathaw, vice presidents E Marwein and B Kharkongor and general secretary B Wanswett, among others.
