Tripura group condemns ‘fake surrender’

SHILLONG: The National Liberation Front of Twipra (NLFT) has said Patijoy Tripura is not a member of the organisation and asked the central and the Tripura governments to stop fake surrender in the name of the organisation. Patijoy alias Fulbalafa of Majhi Roaja Para, Raishiyabari surrendered to the BSF authority in the name of NLFT on December 31, 2018. In a statement issued here, the president of NLFT said Patijoy is not a member and added that a particular agency is encouraging fake surrender in the state and they have been using innocent people to surrender in the name of NLFT for their own interest. The organisation has asked the people of Tripura to be careful about such matters.
