SHILLONG: The Joint Council of Action, Meghalaya division, held a demonstration in front of the office of the senior postmaster of the Shillong GPO on Saturday demanding his removal.
The council was protesting against the attitude of the postmaster towards the workers and his high-handedness.
The Joint Council of Action has decided to meet the chief postmaster general of the North East circle in Shillong to demand the immediate removal of the senior postmaster.
