Amita seeks security to travel to Jowai

SHILLONG: Amita Sangma, the activist who was assaulted along with CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing, has written to the superintendent of police requesting additional security for herself on the day of test identification parade in Jowai on Monday.
Sangma will visit Jowai Jail on Monday and she has requested for more security, with a request to consider deputing DSP J Wahlang, to accompany her to Jowai and back home in the city. She said as many of the accused have not been arrested, she is worries about safety while travelling.
