Sales XI and Warriors register win in Shillong cricket league

SHILLONG: In the first match of Shillong Cricket League between Sales XI v Matri Sangha, Sales XI won by 7 wickets with 3 overs to spare. Sales XI won the toss and elected to Field. Matri Sangha scored120/10 in 19.5 overs. Paritosh Roy scored 48 runs in 41 balls and Monojit- 16 runs in 19 balls. Pranjal Dey took 3 wickets and Swaroop Dey got 2 wickets. Sales XI scored 121/3 in 17 overs. Bappon Dutta scored 61 runs in 44 balls and Prabhat Borah- 16 runs in 28 balls. Kishor Bhowmik took 2 wickets and Monojit got 1 wicket. In the second match between Slog Warriors v Madanryting CC, Slog Warriors won by 7 runs. Madanryting won the toss and elected to Field. Slog Warriors scored144/10 in 20 overs. Rajesh Mahato scored 24 runs in 15 balls and Sushil Prasad- 19 runs in 13 balls. Sonu Sharma and Santosh Thakur took 3 wickets each. Madanryting scored 137/9 in 20 overs. Aakash Dogra scored 52 runs in 33 balls and Shanbor Kharbuli scored 18 runs in 16 balls. Lokesh Turaha and Bikram Roy took 2 wickets each.
