GH fighters to represent state in martial arts tourney
TURA: Six fighters from Garo Hills are set to represent Meghalaya in the upcoming 2nd North East Pencak Silat Martial Arts Championships 2019. The tournament is being held from January 22 to 24 at Tezpur, Sonitpur in Assam.
The fighters from Garo Hills include Misal Rakkim G Momin, Jespar Conisius Marak, Endrick R Marak, Wiseman Ch Momin, Preniven Ch Momin and Brend Kelyan Sangma.
The delegation from Garo Hills will be leaving for Assam on January 19 and will be led by Coach Eddy D Marak and Team Manager Elbiston Marak.
