CoHSO plans rally agsainst Citizenship (Amendment) Bill

SHILLONG: The Confederation of Hynniewtrep Social Organisations (CoHSO) will hold a discussion on January 22 at Khasi National Dorbar Hall, Mawkhar before proceeding with the decision to hold the “Dorbar Bah” (peaceful rally).

In a statement issued here, general secretary of Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) writing on behalf of CoHSO, Roy Kupar Synrem said a united voice should emanate from the people against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB).

In this connection, the CoHSO has urged various NGO leaders, political parties, traditional heads and many organizations in the Hynniewtrep land to participate in the discussion.
