TURA: District Sports Officer, O B Mawthoh has informed that he District Sports Office in collaboration with the District Administration is organizing a ‘Run for Democracy’ on January 25 from 7 am sharp.
The run which is strictly for men and women of 18 years and above will begin at Chandmary Playground and finish at Dikki bandi Stadium in Dakopgre. Interested runners have been asked to register themselves at Chandmary Playground at 6 am on the day.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be given cash prizes of Rs 10,000/-, Rs 7,000/- and Rs 5,000/- respectively, the notification added.
