Truck falls on house
On January 18 around 4 pm, one truck (ML-09-3938) skidded off the road and fell on a house belonging to Phalo Das at Rangatari Junction, South West Garo Hills. As a result, the house was partially damaged while one occupant of the truck sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC Garobadha for treatment.

Three coal-laden trucks seized
On January 17, while conducting Naka checking, Police detected three trucks (ML-05H-6888, ML-05H-1588) illegally transporting coal at Byrnihat and one truck (ML-05R-5150) at Lad Umsaw, Ri Bhoi.

Car knocks down elderly woman
Marshal Khongsit lodged a complaint that on January 14 around 8.15 am, one private car (ML-05R-9154) knocked down his mother. Twisila Khongsit (50) at Fire Brigade Traffic Point, Shillong.
