Change in Garo textbooks

SHILLONG: The Garo Sahitya Sabha president Soroj Sangma has said the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has changed the existing Garo MIL textbooks for Classes IX and X.
In a media statement, Sangma said new Garo MIL textbooks have been introduced with effect from 2019 academic session. This change has been effected by a SEBA notification on December 26. The newly introduced textbooks are Balgito for Class IX and Bilcham for Class X. The textbooks are compiled and edited by the Rev Rodonath Momin Memorial Welfare Society.
