Run for Democracy in Tura

 TURA: The West Garo Hills District Administration is organizing the National Voters Day at Tura  Chandmary Playground on 25th January at 11:00 AM during which the new voters will be felicitated.

In order to mark the occasion, a Run for Democracy is also being organized on the same day at 6:00 AM. The route for the National Voters Day Run will be from Tura Chandmary Playground to the Dikki Bandi Stadium. Cash prizes for the winners will be Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,000/-, and Rs. 5,000/- for both men and women category, informed the district administration.

All interested citizens have been given an open invitation to participate in the NVD Run on Friday morning.
