BJP loses another leader in city

SHILLONG: Shortly after the president of BJP youth wing quit the party, the general secretary of Shillong City District Committee, BJP has followed suit.
Glanding Lyngdoh tendered his resignation to the president of BJP, Shillong City District Committee on Thursday citing personal problems as the reason for his departure.
Lyngdoh has resigned as the general secretary of Shillong City District Committee, BJP and also from the primary membership of the party.
It may be recalled that the president of the youth wing of the BJP – Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha – Egenstar Kurkalang quit the party on January 21 and joined UDP on January 23.
