SHILLONG: The president of KRIMKRO (unity), Painalson C Marak, has demanded Baghmara MLA Samuel Sangma to withdraw his remarks on Kapasipara village in South Garo Hills.
In a statement issued here, Marak said that Sangma in his letter to the education minister wrote that Kapasipara is “an isolated place with very less population, no banking facilities, no police station and doesn’t have its own market place.”
The association has given him two weeks time from the date of publication of this article to withdraw his remark and to expedite the construction of Polytechnic at Kapasipara. They also requested the chief minister to intervene in the matter.
