Arson
On February 1 around 5 am, miscreant(s) set ablaze one Maruti car (ML-05J-1330) belonging to Patrisha Dkhar at Lapalang, Mawbynna, Shillong.

Fraud
Curtis N Marak lodged a complaint that one Donbok Hoojon @ Kitboklang Dkhar hired his Tata Indigo vehicle (ML-05L-1192) at for Rs. 20,000 per month. However, till date he did not make any payment.
P. Ray lodged a complaint that on January 24, one unauthorized transaction of Rs. 25,000/- from his bank account took place without his knowledge.

Fire
On January 31 night, a fire broke out in the house of Taialin Umiong at Mawkhlam village (WKH). As a result, the house was completely gutted. Loss of property is estimated around Rs 7 lakh.

Theft
SS Syiem, Jt. Controller of Legal Metrology, Shillong lodged a complaint that on January 31 around 7.10 pm, miscreant(s) stole the battery of one government vehicle (ML-01-6959) which was parked in the premises of DTO office at Lachumiere, Shillong.

NGT violation
Ohiyoo War, Executive Magistrate lodged a complaint that on January 29, while conducting coal mine raids at Musniang, Pynthorsale, Mukhaialong and Chamcham areas (EJH), one truck (NL-01N-1650) driven by one Mukta Zaman was detected while illegally transporting coal in violation of NGT order.
