SHILLONG: A media team from Mizoram recently visited the NEIGRIHMS.
The team as part of the programme is visiting tourist attractions in Meghalaya to get insights on eco tourism apart from visiting few of the prominent Institutes in Shillong.
The team was lead by Malsawmsanga, MIS, PRO to the Governor of Mizoram and the team consisted of eleven members and the visit was coordinated by Joshep, Assistant Resident Commissioner, Mizoram House, Shillong.
Prof. Daniela, HOD Radiology department facilitated the visit from NEIGRIHMS side. The team had a formal meeting with the institute authorities.
Prof. DM. Thappa, the Director welcomed the team and gave a brief on the upcoming projects of Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College Building, the Hostel facility apart from the efforts directed towards hiking annual intake of MBBS & BSc Nursing students from present 50 students per annum to 100.
