Volunteers
Officer in-charge of Civil Defence, Ri Bhoi District sought trained Civil Defence and Home Guards volunteers for duty in the upcoming District Council Elections. The volunteers can report to Civil Defence Office Nongpoh, at Umlyngkdait near D.C. Bungalow, Nongpoh.
Prohibition
The Dorbar Shnong Umsohsun has decided not to allow any vehicle, scootys, motorbikes etc to park along the roads, lanes/ footpaths of the locality with immediate effect in view of the haphazard parking of vehicles along the main road.
Lecture
Sankardev College organised a motivational lecture cum Career Guidance talk for all students of the institution. It also marked the reopening of classes for the academic session 2019 on Tuesday. Prof K M Pathi, Education Consultant from New Delhi was the Resource Person. The College Principal Dr Eureka F P Lyngdoh, inaugurated the event. The programme was funded from the RUSA Equity Initiative.
