National Games infra panel meet

GUWAHATI: The infrastructure committee of National Games 2022, Meghalaya held its first meeting in Shillong on Thursday to review the existing sports infrastructure and possible practice venues.

“The committee had detailed deliberations and resolved to await the report from the sub-committee on infrastructure,” Meghalaya State Olympic Association working president, John F Kharshiing informed The Shillong Times.

The meeting was chaired by the state chief secretary in his official chamber in presence of the MSOA working president, additional chief secretary, principal secretary, commissioner and secretary, sports and youth affairs (SYA) and interim CEO, NGOC 2022, commissioner and secretary, social justice, deputy commissioners of East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi districts,  director, (SYA), CE, SSC, and host of officials from various departments.
