SHILLONG: In view of the recent leakage of papers of Meghalaya Teachers’ Eligibility Test (MTET), the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) is keeping a hawk’s eye as candidates get ready to sit for their Board examinations scheduled in March.
Speaking to The Shillong Times, Joint Director of MBoSE, M. Marbaniang said instructions were given to the concerned authorities to be vigilant.
“Comprehensive and detailed instructions were sent to all officers in charge of examination centers and custodians to be vigilant on how to handle confidential matters as per instructions of the Board,” he said.
Vocational subject
On the other hand, 200 students will be appearing for the vocational subject this year after the vocational subject was introduced in class IX in 2017, Marbaniang said.

Again in vocational subject, the students can choose from a wide range of topics such as Healthcare, Tourism, IT & ITES, Beauty & Wellness, Electronics and Agriculture.
