SHILLONG: The chairperson of Meghalaya State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Meena Kharkongor, on Wednesday said there will be live-streaming sessions on Facebook/Twitter/You Tube with experts to reduce examination stress of students who are preparing for their upcoming Board examinations.
The statement follows the direction of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) on measures to handle unbearable pressure of examinations amongst students and avoid cases of suicide.
NCPCR has launched a month-long campaign “Pariksha Parv” during the examination period, which is usually from February 19 to March 15, to change the outlook/perspective of children towards examinations. Queries pertaining to examination stress can also be availed at https://twitter.com/NCPCR and https://www.facebook.com/NCPCRofficial.
