Tyres and fuel stolen from truck
On February 19, Police lodged a suo-moto complaint that miscreants stole the batteries, tyres and fuel from seized truck ML-05S-9395, ML-05R-8181, ML-05R-6318, ML-05S-8183 and AS-01JC-8099 which were parked at lay-bye near Nongpoh Police Station, Ri Bhoi.
Two killed in accident
On February 18 around 9.10 pm, one vehicle (number not known) knocked down Budter Shongwan (50) at Byrnihat Bridge, Ri Bhoi.
On February 18 around 9.45 pm, one vehicle (number not known) fatally knocked down Birju Kisku (22) at Umeit Shillong By-pass Road, Ri Bhoi.
Motorcycles stolen
Damanbha Marbaniang lodged a complaint that on February 18 unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (AS-01AP-3081), parked at Kynjat Phutball, Lumparing.
Earlier, Macdonald Jiten lodged a complaint that on February 14 , miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05S-2407), parked on the road side at Mawiong Rim, Shillong.
