Dorbar ostracises family
Blanding Ryntathiang of Lad Pnar village, West Khasi Hills lodged a complaint on February 20 that he and his entire family have been ostracised by Sordar and secretary of Lad Pnar village since December last.

One apprehended for stealing
Serilla T Sangma lodged a complaint that on February 20, Nasiruddin was apprehended while he was attempting to steal her cattle from Rongsaigre village in South West Garo Hills.

One injured in accident
Insp. K Khaute of CRPF, Dayapur, Silchar, Assam lodged a complaint that on February 20 around 9.30 pm, while CRPF personnel were proceeding from Silchar towards Guwahati by unit vehicle (AS-01BC-4535), one LPG tanker (AS-01AC-9957) dashed against their vehicle at Kuliang National Highway, East Jaintia Hills. As a result, driver of LPG tanker identified as Nur Ahmed Borbhuiya sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC Umkiang.

Abandoned coal-laden truck seized
On February 18, Police detected and seized one abandoned coal-laden truck (AS-01C-3033) from Dagal Chiram village, East Garo Hills.

Impersonator dupes man in GH
Welty Momin lodged a complaint that on February 18, Kiven R Marak went to his house at Samanda Megapgre village, East Garo Hills, introduced himself as employee of MeECL, alleged that the complainant have been using electricity illegally and informed him that arrest warrant has been issued in his name. The accused demanded Rs. 5,750 to settle the matter. Later, the complainant realised that he has been cheated.

Threatened
Chiramy R Sangma lodged a complaint that Faljaritha G Momin snatched her handbag from Derrick N Sangma containing PAN card, ID card, Aadhaar card, etc. Later, when the complainant called Faljaritha G Momin to get back her belonging, the accused not only refused but also threatened the complainant.
