4th Death Anniversary of Late P A Sangma to be observed on Monday

TURA: The 4th Death Anniversary of former Lok Sabha Speaker, Late P A Sangma will be observed in a befitting manner on March 4 at Tura in a programme organised by the P A Sangma Foundation, Tura, in association with Synod College, Shillong.

Monday’s programme will see a series of activities beginning from renaming the Dikki Bandi Stadium at Dakopgre, which the great late leader was instrumental in constructing during his long careers as Member of Tura Lok Sabha Parliamentary constituency, to the naming of the AMPT Road beginning from the point of Araimile tri-junction towards Garobadha after the late leader, both which are to be administered by Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma.

Thereafter, at 11 am, a formal function will be organized at District Auditorium wherein, former Chief Minister and presently Chief Adviser to the Government, D D Lapang will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
