There are a total number of 140 SSLC examination centres and 101 HSSLC centres in the state.

Meanwhile, in view of the recent MTET question paper leakage MBOSE officials are keeping a hawk’s eye and instructions have been given to concerned officials to be vigilant. According to M Marbaniang, the Joint Director of MBOSE, comprehensive and detailed instructions have been sent to all officers in charge of the examination centres and custodians to be vigilant on how to handle confidential matters as per instructions of the Board.

Marbaninag also informed that another 200 students are appearing for the vocational subject this year after the same was introduced in class IX in 2017. According to the official, the subject was introduced as part of the initiative of the government to make the students ready for self employment.

While the SSLC examination will conclude on March 18, the HSSLC will conclude later on March 26.
