Office bearers
The new executive body for the upcoming Hanuman Jayani to be held on April 19 was formed recently. Ashok Singhanaia was appointed as president, Amit Singhania as vice president, Suraj Jasrasaria as secretary, Sanjay Jasrasaria as treasurer, Gagan Deorah and Aman Pansari as jt. secretaries along with other executive members. The decision was taken in an annual general meeting.
Teachers’ meet
There will be a general executive committee for the central body of the All Meghalaya SSA School Teachers’ Association (AMSSASTA) at 11 am on March 8 at the Khasi National Durbar Hall. The main agenda of thecommittee will concern pending arrears and salary.
Prayer meeting
A prayer meeting in memory of Lt. Col. N.P. Sud (retd.), father of Navin Syiem and Gautam Syiem, who passed away on Saturday, will be held their residence in Mawlai Mawroh on Tuesday at 4pm.
Annual meet
The Annual General meeting of Shree Hanuman Jayanti Utsav Samiti, Shillong concluded on Saturday. The secretary’s report and accounts for the year 2018-19 were also passed unanimously.
