The state Cabinet on Tuesday approved amendments in the Meghalaya Accounts Service Rules, Meghalaya Financial Services Rules and Meghalaya Local Funds Audit Service Rules. This was informed by Home Minister, James Sangma.

The state Cabinet on Tuesday discussed the Governor’s address for the upcoming Budget session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly beginning from March 8. Home Minister James Sangma said that the Cabinet discussed the Governor’s address, but has left it to the chief minister to approve the draft.
