Awareness
The NSS volunteers of Seng Khasi College, under the supervision of D. Ryntathiang, NSS P.O. of the college, conducted a house visit at Mawpat, Shillong to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and it’s prevention on Wednesday.
Donation
The Rotary Club of Shillong collected Rs. 131501 from their members for the family of CRPF head constable Maneswar Basumatary who was killed in the Pulwama attack. He hails from Kalbari village, Tamulpur in Baksa district of Assam. Members of the club went to Kalbarito pay respect for his sacrifice. The cheque along with a memorial plaque was handed over to his wife Sanmati Basumatary by the President of the club Kailash Varma.
