Shillong: An inter-battalion (ops) / GC Lawn Tennis Tournament was organised from March16-17 by the CRPF Northeastern sector level at Polo ground. The participants were the officers and men deployed in the state of Assam and Meghalaya. The IPS, IGP CRPF, Prakash D, who was also the chief guest, addressed the gathering and motivated the players to display true sportsman spirit and professional gameplay. Several winners of the tournament were awarded trophies during the closing ceremony.
