Addressing a gathering at a mass joining programme in Resubelpara, Zenith said, “Conrad cannot keep playing lying games with the innocent people of Meghalaya. Everyone is educated now and everyone knows the constitution and our rights.” Sangma stressed that the Garo people cannot be fooled. He further said that hundreds of people in most states have joined the Congress over the past few months. He also appealed to the people of Resubelpara and the entire Garo Hills region to think for the betterment and future of their people and choose wisely an experienced candidate like Mukul Sangma in the Lok Sabha election.
Other party workers from different political parties also attended the meeting and expressed their happiness in extending their full support to the Congress party for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They also spoke during the event and unanimously decided to extend help to work and vote for the congress in every nook and corner of Garo Hills.
