Theft
Bittu Pandit Boro lodged a complaint that Raju Koch, who was a cook in Boro Residency (West Khasi Hills), allegedly stole Rs 1,37,000 along with documents of other staffs and absconded.
On March 18 around 3:30 pm, Nilberstone S Sangma lodged a complaint that three miscreants attempted to steal his vehicle in Te’teng A’ja, Tura. When failed, the miscreants set the vehicle ablaze. One of the accused identified as Thangseng Marak was arrested.

1 killed, another injured in separate accidents
On March 18 around 9:30 pm, two vehicles (AS-01B-4119 and ML-05L-8305) collided at Bhoirymbong, Shillong by-pass. As a result, driver of the vehicle (ML-05L-8305) sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC, Bhoirymbong.
Vevika Rishi lodged a complaint that on March 15 between 11:30 am to 12 pm, a bus (ML-08F-0732) fatally knocked down her husband Sanjoy Rishi at Hawakhana Bus Stand, Tura (West Garo Hills).

Five labourers assaulted in Shella
On March 14 between 10-11 pm, a complaint was lodged that six unidentified persons in a car (number unknown) assaulted five labourers namely Md. Akibul Haque, Md. Midul Rahman, Md. Mafijuddin, Md. Momin Sheikh and Md. Sabur Mandal, while they were sleeping in their temporary labour camp at Shella village (East Khasi Hills).

Man attacks brother with machete
Wanpyntngen Sungoh lodged a complaint that on March 17 around 6:30 pm, his brother, Wilson Sungoh assaulted him with a machete at Mynso-A village (West Jaintia Hills). As a result, the victim sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to PHC Nartiang and then referred to NEIGRIHMS.

Threatened
Pawan Kumar lodged a complaint that on March 15 around 1:30 pm, authorities of SRBK Coke Industries Pvt. Ltd., led by a person identified as Bore, trespassed into the Cement Plant complex assaulting and threatening their employee with dire consequences.

Fire
On March 10 around 11:10 am, fire broke out in the residence of Nihim D Shira, at Songsak Bonegre (East Garo Hills).
