SHILLONG: The state government said on Saturday that complaints about corruption can be lodged with the Lokayukta of Meghalaya along with an affidavit.
In a statement issued here, the commissioner and secretary, Political Department, informed that complaints have to be submitted to the secretary to the Lokayukta, R Rapthap.
The Lokayukta in the state had remained non-functional for a long time and its chairperson was appointed only in November last year.
Retired Gauhati High Court judge Pranoy Kumar Musahary is the first chairperson of the state Lokayukta. Four other members of the anti-corruption body are yet to be appointed.
