NONGPOH: With the formation of Ri Bhoi College Alumni Association, a new chapter has been added to the history of Ri Bhoi College on Saturday.
After a discussion held at Ri Bhoi College premises, the office bearers of the association were unanimously selected.
Kyrmenlang Uriah has been selected as the president while Sanjoy Paul Kurbah as general secretary.
On the other hand, Shankar Newar and Susana Syngkli have been nominated as vice president and assistant general secretary respectively.
Ferdynald Kharkamni has been selected as treasurer and P.N. Syiem and Patricia Lyngdoh has been nominated as publicity secretary and organising secretary respectively.
Bobby Wahlang and Altricia Synrem are the advisers of the association. All the members present in the meeting appreciated the initiative taken by the faculty for the formation of the association.
Ri-Bhoi College, established in 1984, is a general degree college at Nongpoh, in Meghalaya. This college is affiliated with the North Eastern Hill University. This college offers bachelor degrees in arts and commerce at present.
