SHILLONG: In the Shillong League Super Division 1st semi final match between Suptnik Spartans CC & N.F.U CC, Ranji player Raj Biswa shines on day 1. Sputnik Spartans CC won the toss, elected to bat 1st & scored 126/10 in 45.1 overs (1st inning). Lakhan Singh scored 30 runs off 51 balls and Prashant Ojha scored 21 runs of 61 balls. Raj Biswa took 3 wkts and Akash Choudhary got 2 wkts. In reply, N.F.U CC (1st inning) at the end of day 1 are 203/2 in 44.0 overs. Raj Biswa scored 140 runs off 123 balls and Purojit Mondal scored 39 runs off 117 balls. Lakhan Singh and Arbind got 1 wkt each.

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Boxing Association announced the names of participants and officials to represent the State in the 1st East Zone Sub Junior Boxing Championship 2019 to be held at Golaghat District, Assam from March 24-27. U12 CMYDS football tourney
SHILLONG: In Mawsynram Block, the final of the boy’s category was played between Mawsynram Grassroots centre and Pyndemumbri FC. Mawsynram Grassroots centre won by 2-0 margin while in the girls category final, Perkseh SC defeated Mawlum Tyrsad by the same margin. In Shella Bholaganj Block, In the boys category final, YBSC Shella beat Sohra Grassroots Centre by 4-2 margin. In the Girls category final, Laitryngew SC trashed YBSC by 8-0 margin.
