UUSA win football tourney at Mawten

Mawkyrwat: United Umsning Sports Academy (UUSA) crowned as Champion of the 5th Invitation Football Tournament 2018-19 after defeating Meghalaya Police Football Team (MLP FT) by a margin of 4-2 in front of a full packed crowd in the final match held at Madan Mawpyllun Mini Stadium in Mawten, Mawkyrwat on Saturday.
A huge crowd turns out to witness an exciting match played between UUSA and MLP FT in which hundreds people also could not see the match properly because there was no seats and they have to stand behind.
The tournament was organized by Mawten Sports Club. The match started with high expectations as both teams played well throughout the entire match. The spectators begin cheering for their own team and the first goal came in from Ronalkidon Lyngdoh of UUSA in the 15 minute. But not long after the first goal, MLP FT found a way back to equalize in the 19 minute from Everestarly Rynjah.
Both teams played good one touch passing game, with equal possession and chances and UUSA founding themselves leading again in the 46 minute from Donlad Diengdoh before the half time.
After the break, MLP FT came back from behind for the second time in the 49 minute which was scored by Everwell Khongjee. Later in the second half UUSA played well and fast game of football, showing aggressive attack.
