SHILLONG: The KHADC Executive Member (EM) in charge of Market, Jambor War has stated there is no control over prices for agricultural products in Iewduh and other markets.
He was replying to a query raised by Congress MDC Fantin Joseph Lakadong during the question hour of the KHADC budget session on Tuesday.
Congress MDC Ronnie Lyngdoh raised the issue of deduction by middle men of 5 kg and 10 kg attributing it to the weight of the basket and the sack.
Warr said the matter would be looked into.
