SHILLONG: The trade fair in the city is attracting hundreds of visitors everyday with its array of articles and surprises. There are showpieces from Egypt, Africa, Bangladesh, utility items from the Netherlands and herbal medicines and knick-knacks from Thailand. The Afghanistan stall has a variety of dry fruits and nuts.
Artisans deputed by the NSIC display some of the most wonderful artifacts, including tooth brushes made of bamboo.
The fair has been organised by the Industries and Trade Fair Association of Assam.
