Shillong: The District Election Officer, East Jaintia Hills, on Saturday informed that a General Election Observer, Police Observer and an Expenditure Observer have been deployed by the Election Commission of India in the district for election-monitoring purposes in respect of 5-Sutnga Saipung and 6-Khliehriat assembly segments.
Sandeep Kumar, has been deployed as the General Election Observer, Sabya Sachi Raman Mishra as the Police Observer, and Hiwase Anoop Sadashiv as the Expenditure Observer.
