Blood donation camp
The NCC and NSS units of BBS College, Shillong in collaboration with the Regional Blood Bank and Pasteur Institute, Shillong organised a voluntary blood donation camp within the college premises. Out of 80 volunteers, a total of 29 young men and women donated blood including NCC cadets and ANO members along with the NSS-programme officer, teachers, NSS volunteers and students.

Fare hike
The Nongpoh sumo owners and drivers association, during a general meeting, hiked the passengers’ fare for Mawhati-Shillong route and Shillong-Zero Point route, and vice versa. The fair-hike of Rs 10 for both routes will come into effect from Monday.
